Blog Post #1

I want to get a lot of things out of this class. Since day one I have always wondered if I was going to make it so far in this program that I would finally be flying the twin engine Piper Seminole. While that day has not come quite yet (I still have to complete and attain my commercial pilots certificate) I am still closer than I have ever been and could not be happier. As far as what I want to get out of the class, I purely want to learn everything I can about flying a multi engine airplane. I am not looking for anything other than what I need to know for the FAA written test and what I will need to be armed with when I begin my flights in the aircraft in question. I expect to learn what I can, have a good repoire with my instructor, work hard, and be held to a high standard for which I will keep throughout my aviation career.
As far as my expectations for blogging, I expect to do my blog assignments and be graded. I am setting solid goals for myself in terms of what I want to share in my blog and I plan to do them in a timely manner and be a thorough as I possibly can. I do not have much experience with blogging but I have kept journals in the past, this will be a somewhat new experience for me.
I am really looking forward to being able to experience flight in multi engine aircraft. I also could not be happier to have a one-on-one instructor, I feel that I gain much more from individual learning. All in all I am excited about what lies ahead.
